How is this item attached to the wall? I'm replacing a broken lamp that I think is the same, and there's already a metal support with screws. I'd like to see if this lamp will fit the support.
If you are replacing an existing fixture, it is recommended to disconnect and remove the old fixture and expose the supply wiring from the J-box. Fasten the supplied crossbar to the J-box with the supplied screws. Insert the nipple into the center hole of the crossbar and adjust the washers to attach the fixture to the crossbar.
