Great Quality Built Fixture
I almost did not buy because of the reviews about the quality of the aspen wood, some reviews stated metal, it is not metal that is painted to look like wood. It is a wood probably polar but the way it is painted and distressed gives the look of distressed Aspen Wood. I put two of these lights above my Island in my kitchen and I get more compliments regarding these fixtures. You will not be disappointed they make my chef Kitchen and Granite Island Pop. Bellacor is a great place to purchase!!!!!

Very Disappointed
This review is not a reflection of Bellacor as they have been nothing but awesome. The chandler was on back order and took some extra time to ship however the "authentic Aspen Wood" looked more like paint on resin then real wood. The picture made the chandelier have the wood look that we have been looking for but the actual product did not have that true rustic look we were looking for. Sadly we will be returning the product ASAP. Very disappointed

Not what I expected
Item is marketed as having Aspen wood. To my disappointment, it is just a painted wood veneer over metal. Definitely looks better in the pictures. Does look like it's solidly built though.

Breakfast room table
I just had this lovely globe installed over my breakfast room table. It is quite different and unusual and fun! It is a great size and shape. As far as other reviews re: what kind of wood, etc. Who cares... I didn't even notice those complaints on my new light. I consider myself to be a very picky shopper and have very high standards for style and elegance. This is exactly what I want - unique and different than the run of the mill, average light. I recommend it

Is definitely not real wood
This arrived and I was very disappointed with the way the wood appeared. It looks and feels like a type of plastic. Our carpenter said there is not one piece of real wood in it.

Better even in person!
Love the chandi and so happy that the actual measurement is 40" in diameter (its states 20" - but that's just one side -- you if you wrap a measurement around, it's 40" total) - which is great!

Beautiful Light!
I bought this light over one month ago and I could not be more happier with it. I put it in my sun room and it looks incredible. It is now my favorite light fixture in my home. Everyone compliments how gorgeous it is. If you are considering buying this light, do it!

How tall is your ceiling? I have 12 foot vaulted ceilings where I have installed this fixture. It is absolutely gorgeous--my favorite light fixture in my home.

Would this chandelier be able to be used outside under a pergola? It would be exposed to rain? What would I need to worry about?
I think it would be fine as long as all the electrical was contained. The wood is not real wood I think it's plastic.

I'd like to use this chandelier on my porch. It is covered, but I need it to be moisture sealed. Is it possible to retrofit this one to make it damp rated???
