Is the white on the inside powder coated, epoxy, or something else? Is there a temperature limit for the white inside paint?
The inner portion of the shade is painted. The bulb wattage cannot exceed 60 watts output. Additionally, there is no temperature limit for that part since the shade is made up of metal.

This is an actual lamp that plugs into an outlet or can I wire it to a switch like a wall light?
The Otis Wall Lamp needs to be directly wired to the outlet box and it features a switch on the socket.
