I love the clear bubble globe and know it will give me the ambiance I want in this area of my home. I have done some remodeling recently changing from a comfortable yet rather bland interior to one of charming yet sophisticated country. This Kichler sconce is such a welcome addition. I am so anxious to have it installed.

It fits the space and makes the place brighter. The look is contemporary / Minimalist and sleek. The black color fits the décor and we particularly like the seeded glass. The quality of workmanship is well above today's average products. The mounting plate is perhaps the best feature. It allows the sconces to be attached nearly anywhere. The glass around the bulb is thin, but not so much that I am worried about it breaking easily. The installation was simple.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Heinrude from Beautiful Statement Lighting [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added 2 of these sconce light fixtures to a wall in our home theater room. They definitely added a classic movie theater look and the long stems hanging down made them visually appealing for a 9 foot ceiling. The bubble glass is really nice and clear and either an Edison bulb or regular look lovely in the sconce without being blinding. I put 2 sconces evenly spaced on a 20’ wall and the lighting given off is just enough for ambience when dim and enough to illuminate that side of the room when bright. I installed a dimmer switch for these sconces and they look great either bright or dim. From the instructions the glass globe can ‘be mounted with the glass in the up or down position’, but I found it sturdiest to have the glass mounted in the up position so the thumbscrews would sit in the groove on the glass. Visually, I preferred the down position of the glass, but with young kids I wasn’t comfortable with that as it seemed it could easily knock out of the thumbscrews since there wasn’t a groove in the glass to hold it tighter. My only complaint was that the arm (that hold the thumbscrews) on one of the fixtures wasn’t straight and slowed down. Thus when the glass globe was placed on the 3 arms and the thumbscrews adjusted it sat crooked. Because of the way the fixture is made and it is heavy duty, it is impossible to try and bend it up to fit better. I did put a small square of Sheetrock on the arm for the glass globe to sit on and it seemed to fix the issue and straighten out the glass. The other fixture I bought was perfect. I love these sconces so much that I plan on purchasing another pair for the opposite wall in my theater room. They work wonderfully, look classic and beautiful, and fit well with a 9’ ceiling.
