Mixed feelings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this dresser. I’ll start with the things I like, it’s all solid wood no particle board pieces which makes it super nice and sturdy. I like that the top of the dresser has a nice edge around it so you can use it to place things and not have them fall to the side or back. It’s very heavy so it’s not going to easily tip over, this is due to it having solid wood pieces throughout. Onto the things I don’t like. From the start, the process of putting it together took hours, the instructions were fine but there were SO many pieces and it was extremely tedious. There was also no warning when installing the screws that they may pop through the wood (yes hand tightening and not over tightening them) and it literally split the wood on top. The next thing was when it got to the drawers, they suggest using wax to help them glide which is not something I have around the house and would have been nice to be included. Also the drawers just have pegs to stop them from pulling all the way out and we’re a pain to install since you have to do it with the drawer in while in a tight tiny space to tap them. But if you overly tap them by accident theres nearly no way to loosen them, and by not being able to do so it makes it really difficult to pull the drawers out. Lastly, the drawers really aren’t that deep, I fit my stuff in them but honestly this dresser would be better for kids clothes to maximize the amount of stuff that’ll fit. Overall it’s nice and sturdy but I would recommend it for a kid or someone with not as many items being placed in it. Also someone with a lot of patience since it takes an extremely long time to put together.
