This entertainment center has been a great replacement! I had always wanted a fireplace, and this one works very well. The flickering flame provides a nice glow and makes my living room feel nice and cozy. You can use the fireplace with or without the heat feature. The heat feature is great for taking the chill out of the air. I am pleased with the quality of the entertainment center, as well. Nothing was scratched, and everything is very sturdy. We followed the directions and had no problems putting it together. All in all, it took my husband an hour and a half to assemble it from start to finish. There are even stickers provided to put over the metal pieces in order to camouflage them. I thought this was a nice touch! This piece is just stunning, and I love the mission style design. The coloring is a nice, light brown. It matches the other wood tones in my house quite nicely. I would definitely recommend this entertainment center to anyone looking to add some style and character to their home. I am often very picky about my furniture, but this one is a definite win!
