Will the universal remote it comes with reverse the motor or do you have have to physically flip the housing switch?

Can you reverse the fan with the remote? We would like to hang this in an overlook and won't have access to the button on the casing to reverse it for the seasons.

Yes, you may order down-rods from a 12 Inch to 72 Inch same as the fan's as per your requirement. For 12 Inch down-rod please refer Bellacor ID 1651317 and for 18 Inch down-rod( 2142710).
