Light is beautiful!
The 14 inches measurement is from the very top of the piece that holds the light to the bottom, it turned out to be a tad smaller than I was hoping. It would make perfect pendants if you had multiple the same size but to small to just have hanging alone

The color is not as shown.
The fixture is a nice shape but doesn’t feel substantial and the Vintage Gold colorway is more silver than Gold. The finish also appeared to have a sponge painted look, it was certainly not Vintage Gold. I returned it.

Love it!
I've had my light feature now for a couple of months and still find myself stopping to look at it as I walk by. I'm working on ordering a second feature for my dinning room. I've been able to pick up hints of gold throughout my home inspired by my light feature!! So pleased!

What is the height of the actual light (not including the chain)? And what is the height of the entire fixture with the chain? My entryway has low ceilings.
The fixture itself is 18.5" (from the tip of the triangle at the top to the base). You can make the chain length whatever you desire by shortening or lengthening the links.

Does the finish of this lantern have a true gold look?
No, antiqued gold. It looks more antiqued gold when the light is off and when the light is on it is closer to true gold but still not true gold. It is very pretty but if you are looking for true gold this might not be what you want

Is the widest part at the top 12 inches wide? Is it 14 inches from point at peak of top of light?
Yes, the widest portion from the furthest left to the right end is 12" -inch and the height from the chain collar loop to the bottom of the fixture is 14" -inch.

This Four-Light Lantern Pendant does not comes in brushed nickel finish.

It looks as if you can remove the diamond at the top of the light (the piece that connects to the chain). If that is the case can the fixture be screwed directly into the base to be flush mounted?
The fixture was hung by my electrician so I don't know for certain, but it does not look like the two pieces would screw together to flush mount it.
