I live in Arizona....how will this copper metal wear over time?

This One-Light Outdoor Wall Mount Fixture is made up of copper and features a copper Patina finish for the Exterior wet conditions. Generally, Copper change color over time according to its particular environment.In dry air, tarnishing takes place quite slowly; however, with the usual atmosphere around us, the humidity accelerates the tarnishing process which is results in darkening of the material. Over time, and upon repeated or prolonged exposure to moisture in the presence of dissolved acidic substances, such as carbon dioxide and the polluting substances found in acid rain, tarnished copper may turns blue-green to gray-green.
