The only time consuming part was assembling the shade as it is flat in the box when delivered but , it too is simple to put together . There were LED bulbs included.Such a lovely looking and spectacular lamp.

It is not the height I expected, as a bit on the short side and the lamp does not stand so firm on carpet,so perhaps its base could be heavier. The cost is great though. I am satisfied with this lamp.

The lamp arrived with a bent on/off switch. If you extend the lamp to its fullest position on a carpet, it may tip over. It's a nice lamp, but a little disappointing.
