I bought this to go with another piece of furniture that I ordered that is black with a distressed finish. This coat rack was described as having a distressed finish and you could see the distressed look when you zoomed in on it. I am very disappointed to say that there is not one tiny little bit of distressed makings on this piece. It is totally solid black!! Otherwise,a nice piece. Do not buy if you want distressed look.
