This fixture accepts qty 8 candelabra based screw-in type bulbs with a maximum of 60 watts per socket. The bulbs do not come included with the fixture. It can dim dependent upon which type of bulb and dimmer are used. You can also use LED's.

what is the total height?

The fixture is 8.85" H x 4.75" W x 38.13" L. The canopy is 4.72" W x 14.96" L x 1" H. It comes included with 72" of leadwire, four 12" rods, and four 6" rods. Using all the rods that come included with the fixture the maximum height is 81.87". You can use all or one of the downrods to obtain the desired length upon installation. You can also order additional 12" rods #543-DOWNROD-BNK (sold separately) if you want to go longer.
