Brass clip on headboard lamp
Love this brass lamp! It fits on my 2" headboard and looks great in my bedroom. Gives great light for reading in bed at night.

Beautiful addition
I have a studio apartment so I do not have room for an end table next to my bed. Thus, reading in bed was difficult as I had no bedside lamp to read by. The House Troy Adjustable Clip-on Bed Lamp solved my problem. It looks great and provides excellent lighting.

light bulb would not stay in place,would fall down out of light. Also the goose neck could be taller brings light too close to reader's eyes. Hopefully Bellacor has a better model

Does the "shade" get hot? I have a similar style on my piano and the other brass gets too hot.
I am using the lamp with 40W GE LED bright stick product. No problems with heat emanating from the lamp shade. The lamp is a quality product and I'm very happy with the appearance and performance.

I need a headboard light and this looks like it would be perfect, but my headboard is exactly 2" thick. Will this lamp fit over my headboard?
Doubtful. I had to shave the wood to make this fit. There is limited play in the clamp.

We have had this lamp for about two years with normal usage. However the switch is quite difficult to turn on or off.. We are struggling along with it because we do like the styling and it looks so nice in our bedroom. Any suggestions?
There is no any alternate for the On shade switch. Please contact our Customer Care Department for assistance with similar type Bed Lamps with any other switching options.

I was wondering if the lamp uses a regular light bulb.
