Thank you for the response. I'm leery about the extension, how is it attached? How secure is it?

Thanks for reaching out to us. The extension is attached to the pedestal with 2 long bolts and then the mounting plate is attached to the top of the extension. It is secure.

The description states counter height, which I think of as 35-36" H. It also states it has a 6" extension to make it counter height, can you tell me, as shipped, what is the height of the table from the floor to the top of the table?

The table is 29 ¼ Inches without the extension or 35 ¼ Inches with the extension.
