Weak at post to base - but can be repaired
While this fixture is very beautiful and loved by my wife it is fragile and will easily snap off at the base. I would not recommend if you have small children or large dogs. However, I have been able to repair the ones that have broken. The fix involves epoxying 1/2 in. L brackets on all four sides of the square upright to the base and then using Gorilla tape to further reinforce the area and hide the brackets. I will include a photo to better illustrate the process. The result is stronger than the original. If I purchase any more of these lights I might use this procedure up front to increase the durability of the light.

Great fixture, delicate mount that tends to break
Hi have purchased 6 of these lights and had to replace 2 of them due to a break with a tiny pin at the base that attaches to the ground stake. The lights look great but are very fragile and too expensive to have such a cheap part made to attach

NOT one of Kichler's best products!
I own and operate a Landscape Lighting company and have been a long term supporter of the Kichler brand, but this fixture should be discontinued or a least modified. I had to replace a bunch of these fixtures because they failed. Each time I received no compensation for the labour involved. When I removed them water literally poured out of the stem. As a result of the water build up it finally finds its way into the LED board and the board fails. I have experienced the same issue with its big brother, the "Shallow Shade Large". I believe water is finding its way into the stem where the hat connects at the top. I would not recommend purchasing this fixture at all!

Poor product
Good looking product and nice light output. But the fixture breaks very easy at the base. I have also had the integrated led fail on multiple fixtures. I am a professional installer and it is a total pain to deal with the failure rate.

Beautiful design that you have to keep replacing
I think the design of this light is perfect - sleek, simple, elegant, but over the last 3 years I have had to replace about half of these relatively expensive fixtures. According to my landscaper, it's a design flaw; you cannot easily replace the bulb nor the brains (there's a more accurate term that I cannot remember right now). I would expect longer life/greater dependability for the cost.

Manufacturer Defective
I purchased 7 of this model of light about 4.5 years ago. Over that period all 7 have had to be replaced. Fortunately they were covered under a 5 year warranty, but now the second set of light are starting to go and the replacement lights are not covered by a warranty (i.e. one time replacement). These light clearly have a manufactures defect.

light stopped working
installed the landscape lighting mid 2018 and now three of the lamps stopped working. not the power supply because i replaced the kichler light with another brand and all works well. want to repair the kichler lights but cannot even find a parts list.

Very poor quality
These lights have great form. Unfortunately, we bought 10 of these 6 years ago and only 2 are still working. They break at the base and the bulbs have stopped working.
