These stem-mounted fixtures are highlighted by.5in. thick saucers of clear glass. The Brushed Nickel finished frames of the Galaxie Collection range from simple one light hanging fixtures to an intricate network of saucers of light. With a diameter of 10in. and 5.5 in. in body height this Galaxie mini-pendant can fit any room, with any décor. It uses one, 50-watt (max.) tungsten halogen lamp (included) with a T-3 or T-4 double contact, bayonet base. Replacing the halogen bulb
Be very careful replacing a burned out halogen bulb. The hundreds of hours of intense heat from the halogen bulb "weld" the bulb's prongs to the the metal socket. In pulling the bulb downward to remove, the metal socket and porcelain insulator dislodge and break apart, rendering the fixture useless.
