Gorgeous - but wonky
we love the look of this fan - but the remote has given us a string of frustrations. it only works sometimes. Then it only work if it's held up next to the light. now it diesn't seem to work at all! We press and press and press that button and it can take a few minutes before we get a response. you can imagine how this feels at the end of the day at bedtime (this is in our bedroom). seems we have a lemon! hopefully the company will help us (we just sent a request).

Perfect Fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently updated our kitchen appliances to stainless steel and I needed a ceiling fan that would produce a more energy efficient lighting while matching my appliances. The Kichler Brahm 56 inch LED Ceiling Fan in Satin Black matches perfectly in my kitchen space. The blades are reversable and can be installed either in the satin black or the silver color. I chose to have mine installed in the silver. This ceiling fan has an integrated LED which should last a long time so no need to switch out lightbulbs. The light is also dimmable which I really appreciate for cozy nights at home. The fan is fairly quiet and you can set it to different speeds with the remote which I find a handy feature. Overall, it's a great replacement ceiling fan for my home and I am quite pleased.

Transformed our family room!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We suffered for eight years without a ceiling fan in our family room, and this fan changed the way we spend time together (really!). The large blades are sufficient for the large room, and at any of the three speeds, it is absolutely whisper-quiet. The remote works great, and the kit includes a simple mounting bracket (for the remote) that can attach right to the wall beside (or in place of) a light switch, which means no more losing the remote! The LED light is bright and I love not having to worry about changing bulbs.
Installation was mostly easy, and I am no expert. The way the special mounting brace is designed allowed me to securely and easily hang the heavy motor first, which freed both hands to do the wiring. The one tricky part was fitting all the wires and the remote-sensor unit inside the housing flush to the ceiling, but I did get everything to fit.
The look is modern and sleek without any pretentiousness. Fits very well in our decor.
The whole family loves it, and we basically added a new enjoyable room to our house!

Installing the ceiling fan was super simple; the directions included were very detailed and helpful. The fan took under an hour to install. This ceiling fan is absolutely stunning! There are 5 blades which are reversible so you can choose between silver and the black. To match my color scheme, I chose the black blades. I love the satin black finish paired with the white opal glass. The LED light is nice and bright which is exactly what I was looking for. The light is dimmable if preferred. This 56” fan is very powerful and cools down my living room extremely well. This fan is also super quiet, even at the highest speed you don’t hear any noise. This ceiling fan has a remote which is super convenient. The remote allows you to choose the speed of the fan and two different light settings. I have had numerous family and friends comment on my ceiling fan, it definitely changed the look of my room. This high quality fan brings a modern look to my living room which is exactly what I wanted. If you are looking to update your ceiling fan, I definitely recommend this one by Kichler.
