Kichler Spyra 62" ceiling fan Matte White
I COULD NOT WAIT to put up this one of a kind unique fan. I do love it, but there is one thing that makes it look "cheap" to me. Right above the light, you can see part of the white circle as the blades spiral around the circle. I do not like how it looks at all. To me it looks cheap, and the fan was not cheap. Not sure if this would be the same case with a silver fan with silver blades. But the blades on the white fan are grayish in color, and the difference at the bottom is very noticeable.

impressive, functional and very cool looking fan!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say that this ceiling fan is not your typical ceiling fan. After installing it, we understood why it is an expensive ceiling fan. This Spyra fan distributes air evenly throughout my living room. The design of the blades are impressive. They blow air in the room really well. And it only has 3 blades! We can even feel the breeze in the entry way and in the sunroom which are connected to the living room. We set our thermostat to 75 from 68 and it still feels comfortable in the living room. Another great functions of this fan is that the fan speed has 6 settings as well as the led light. The blue light next to the button is the indicator of how high or low your setting is. It also has a power button to turn everything off or on at once. Everything you want the fan to do can be controlled in a press of a button! Also, If you have high ceiling, get a longer down rod. We bought ours online since the one that came in the kit is just a short 4 1/2” one. Installing it was not so bad. We did it ourselves and it took us maybe 3-4 hours, but that’s because we took a lot of breaks. Just follow the directions on the booklet and you’ll be fine. All of the materials that came in the kit are VERY high quality. After having this fan running for almost a week now, we like it more and more each day. The design, the functionality and the quality of this fan is amazing. But the best of all, it distributes air really really well. We are very satisfied with this fan. No more cord hanging or getting a very tall ladder to change the direction of the blades. I highly recommend it.

Amazing ceiling fan for hot summers!!!

We were having issues keeping our master bedroom comfortable but this fan sends a cool crisp breeze from our bed to the bathroom (fyi: our master spans the entire width of our home). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this fan. It is really unlike anything I had seen before and it is truly an accent piece in the room. The dark driftwood blade finish is beautiful along with the brushed nickel.
I have installed many fans in the past and this one was fundamentally like the others except when it came to the blades. It was a little different when trying to get the top spiral to fit right but once i got the hang of it they were easy. The wired switch/remote works great and has six setting for each the light and the fan speed which is visible with small LED lights next to the controls.
The fan moves a great deal of air and works great in my sunroom. The LED light isn't my favorite for lighting the room (I have LED recessed lights for that) but adds a nice low level light when the situation calls for it.
Overall this fan exudes quality and has been a great addition to our sunroom.

Beauty and Function
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the fan, the outside box was a little damaged but everything inside was in perfect condition. Everything I needed to put up the fan was included in the box. The instructions were quite easy, we replaced an older fan, so it was very easy to install. I really love the contemporary and unique look of this fan. I chose the dark driftwood blades, and they are beautiful. I love that this fan came with LED lights that are bright and will last for many years to come. The LED lights are in a removable module, so if you need to replace the lights for any reason you can do so, and you will not have to buy a whole new fan. The fan also has 6 different speeds and brightness settings, which it great to set the perfect mood. I could not be happier with this fan- it is very beautiful, puts out a great amount of light and produces a quiet and powerful breeze. It would be a great addition to any home.

Repeated problems with controller
This is a beautiful fan, pushes air well, however we had repeated problems with the fan, apparently related to the controller. Kichler replaced the fan, then after 6 months, same problems, fan changing directions, light coming on in middle of night. We ended up having to buy a replacement fan ourselves. Very disappointed.

Lovely ceiling fan.
