Beautiful design

Especially if you have some electrician experience. The reverse option from the wall control is a big plus which I definitely would love to have. The fan is very well constructed, the pieces feel solid. Very elegant and would make any room absolutely beautiful.

Simple and rustic

There is adjustable speed settings that gain airflow to your needs. The light itself can be dimmed with the right bulb. It is safe for wet conditions. It absolutely looks stunning. Looks stunning with multiple decors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice, industrial looking, fixture that would be suitable with multiple types of decor. The LED light kit provides bright, clear light and the fan moves a surprising amount of air. The custom wall switch was a total game changer. It is sleek, and looks high tech while it simplifies the function of the fixture.
My installer suggested a few changes to the installation instructions. He said page 5 of the instructions say you need an 11mm wrench but he never found a use for it.
On page 7 the instructions tell you to remove the hanger ball but fails to mention it unscrews.
And finally, (from page 11 of the instructions) he recommended, due to the tight spacing (unless a longer down rod is used) you should remove one of the two shoulder screws in the mounting bracket and loosen the second before completing step 5 (on page 8).
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this beautiful fan kit!

Modern Rustic Look
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this ceiling fan! One of the most difficult ceiling fan installs we have done, we had to call a family member for help. The light kit was super easy it was as simple as plugging something in but wiring the motor remote took a little longer. The Kichler 60 Inch Ahrendale Ceiling Fan does come with an anchor cable attached for added support, this is a pretty heavy fan so it is a great extra.The screw holes on the switch were not bored properly so we did have a few extra minutes fitting the screws in. *This comes with a switch cover that was pretty nice, unfortunately we couldn't use it since we have 3 switches in our box. The switch includes 3 separate fan speed buttons, reverse and light buttons and an on/off switch. *The switch has a learning button but we didn't need it the unit synced up to the switch on the first try. We got a lot of compliments on our new fan and it is worth the extra installation time.

Great fan for my living room
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this ceiling fan to replace the outdated fan in my living room. This Ahrendale fan is gorgeous! I am particularly excited about the wall control switch that comes with the fan. We had previously used a remote control for our other fan but it was very easily misplaced and had a mind of its own sometimes. If we lost it, then we couldn't adjust the fan setting at all. I love that the Kichler wall control is straightforward and simple to use, not to mention a stationary object on the wall. I can instruct my young daughter to change the speed when I catch her walking by, and no more searching for another lost remote.
The style of this Ahrendale fan has really improved the look of my living room and adjoining dining home. I have high ceilings which most of my guests notice as soon as they walk in and I feel so much better about having a beautiful fan up there now. We usually run it on the low or medium speed, but even at the high speed its nice and quiet.

Beautiful Ceiling Fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Kichler lighting fixture that myself and my husband have installed in our new home. I really adore the style of the Ahrendale LED 60' Ceiling Fan. The style adds a modern touch to the traditional farmhouse and seaside which is what we're going for.
The ceiling fan came packaged very well. I do recommend taking the time to make sure everything has been taken out of the box, if not you might miss a couple important components. The blades are individually wrapped which helps with preventing breakage.
When installing the Ahrendale Ceiling Fan, I have a few important helpful tips. Install will require at least two people, making sure you shut the power off to said electrical area, and read the directions multiple times. Like I mentioned, the install was my husband and myself. I helped with holding the fixture while he was connecting wires in the ceiling. I feel like it's common knowledge to shut the power off to the area that you'll be working in. The directions were helpful, but a steps were forgotten in the printout. We found a very helpful video on YouTube were there was a similiar LED ceiling fan by Kichler being installed. This is how we discovered a few steps that were emitted. I would like to see a QR code included either on the box or inside the directions with a supported video with step by step directions.
The install of the switch was super simple. We unscrewed the original switch that probably came with my house. Following directions with what wires to hook up, was easy. I really like the switch panel that came along with the ceiling fan. My biggest surprise was having the reverse button. It allows for simple switch between hotter and cooler months. The ceiling fan puts out so much air!
