Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern & Classy Home Office Pendant [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After suffering through insufficient lighting in our home office for way too long, we were desperate to upgrade the lighting. So, when I found this 5-light fixture (with a diffuser!) that was modern and classy, I was thrilled. At first, I thought it might be too large for the room - it's 10'x13'. But once we had it up, I was so glad we took the chance. It came securely packaged, which was great because the drum shade is similar to a lamp shade, and seems like it could damage easily if not handled carefully. Because of the size of the fixture, it took both my husband and myself to install. It took us about 45 minutes. Thankfully, it had several down rods so we were able to play with the hanging length to get it where we wanted it. Directions were fairly clear. Only question we had that wasn't addressed in the direction was whether or not the frosted side of the diffuser glass went on the inside or outside, but we settled on the inside. All-in-all we are very pleased with the fixture and would definitely recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to install, looks great, diffuses light well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was easy. It can be done with one person but I recommend getting an extra set of hands when installing the diffuser since it is quite heavy. It took us about 30 minutes to install. It looks too large for our space when I first opened the box but once installed; it was the perfect size. They give you plenty of rods to adjust to your liking; we chose to use one short rod - semi-flushed to the ceiling since we installed it in our living room on top of the couch. Also, the wires provided were more than enough plus there is an extra set of wires. It diffuses light really well. I placed smart bulbs which I can control the brightness and control and I think it works really well with the shade. It was also easy to change the bulbs; I had to change one bulb after installation and I had access to the bulbs from the top. I have enough clearance to fit my hands even if we only used one rod. The instructions were easy to follow for us but I wish it was clearer. Note that the bottom glass diffuser is not to be held by the frame; it is only attached to it by the center screw. The brackets on the frame are to be used to make sure the glass is leveled. It was also not specified on the instruction which side goes inside; we opted to place the frosted side of the diffuser facing out. I might reverse is soon since it is easier to clean the smooth part. Overall, it is a great light fixture that is very versatile when it comes to length; from semi-flushed to mid to a pendant light. It will go well with traditional to modern style.
