Rated 5 out of 5 by Tinker from Nicely made and looks good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was pretty straightforward to put together and install with the exception for a single person installing the glass jars**. For my installation I placed it where a recessed light was, so once the retrofit bracket i purchased was installed it was pretty easy to install the hardware because i was able to simplify the installation by pre wiring it to the male end of a screw in socket (because the socket for the light bulb is inside the recess light can). So all i needed to do was wire it all up to a male socket on the table i was working on, then screw that socket in the recess can (no wiring above my head Yeah!!), mount the bracket, ground it, screw in the final mount and flip the switch! ** Its a pain in the rump for one person to put the glass jars on after it was mounted to the ceiling, it is not easy but it can be done (i did it but was afraid of a jar slipping and falling down in the process). to make it easier for yourself find someone to help you for 3-5 minutes to hold the jar/s while the other one mounts it with the bracket. This provides much more light than our previous recess light, in fact so much i may get a dimmer switch. I will probably in the near future replace the CFL's i have for LED Edison bulbs similar to the stock advertised picture. This product was provided to me for my honest and unbiased feedback
