It was important that we find a piece that looked somewhat primitive since it was to be installed in a hand-hewn log cabin. The old chandelier that came with the home was tiny and just didn't look right with tall ceilings and a 10' table. This chandelier completely transformed the space with a more elegant, yet rustic feel and I really love the up AND down lighting. I had it professionally installed because it's so heavy and the job was definitely made easier with two men.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AshevilleHome from Gorgeous Chandelier [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chandelier is made VERY sturdy. It arrived via freight, so it is VERY heavy. It took several people to lift it, so I don't think this is something one person could install on their own very easily. I had to coordinate to be home for its arrival. The light fixture was packaged very well and wrapped so every piece of the fixture was protected. The finishes look beautiful. I love the wood and metal colors, and the bubbled glass is a really nice touch. We liked the idea of using edison light bulbs with it. The top, vertical connecting bars can be adjusted, so you can install it on tall or shorter ceilings. The bars come in 12' increments, and one of them can be split in half. We used only the 6" increment. We do not have very high ceilings, and we wanted to hang it above our dining room table. This light fixture changed the whole feel of our room. We have an updated kitchen with an attached dining room, and the dining room fan we had was dated. This made the whole area come together and updated the entire dining space for a more cohesive overall look! It is amazing how just one change can change the whole feel of the entire space.

It brings so much light and is a definite main focal point of any room it is installed in. Its definitely a bit heavy so it's a multi person job but it isnt too bad. Beautiful fixture, illuminates the room, and adds class to any room it is in. 10/10
