It has the structure for use as an island light but I decided to place it on my wide stairway and it makes a huge statement when you walk into my foyer. The 5 lights give more than enough brightness and fills the space perfectly. My husband was able to put this up in less than an hour with the help of a neighbor to support the weight while he attached it to the ceiling. It does have some weight to it and seems very well made. I was worried the cables would be loose and show some lag over time but they are supported through each corner bar so they will stay in place. It has a very industrial look but also a modern touch and the Midnight Oak finish is very dark that it would actually match any black fixtures you have as well.

It took about 30 minutes to install. It’s a little on the heavy side so make sure you have enough support for it. I love the industrial look and it really gives off a lot of light. We have ours on a dimmer switch so we can adjust the brightness if needed. The light is very well made and makes the room stand out. We are already looking for similar lights for another room.

It is modern, unique, and still has that rustic feel. It has power so lights the room perfectly. If you want a dimmer experience just use a 40W bulb or lower for that ambiance. Was very easy to install. Just installed and not only does my family love it but friends have complimented it already. Highly recommend.
