Round Contemporary Light Fixture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like a more simple or neutral design in fixtures. A fixture that is adaptable in different locations. This is a large, polished nickel, round fixture it's approximately 18 inches wide and approximately 6 inches high. It weighs approximately 8 pounds. Since it is a larger fixture we plan on installing it in our entryway. We are not electricians and it's a substantial fixture that requires 2 people to install. We are have an electrician scheduled to help install. This fixture is perfect for a larger area or an area that requires more light such as our entryway. It uses 60W light bulbs or LED, 3 of either which are not included but easy to get at a hardware store etc. Overall, this is a quality light fixture that is a perfect addition to our home style.

Nice simple fixture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Orinda requested this fixture for a hallway, but due to the attic opening, Icouldn't put it there. I decided to place it in my craft area/ closet since I had horrible lighting there. I love how bright it is. I was actually surprised by how big it is but i really do like how it looks in the space. I love the nice sleek style.

Big bright light!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is bigger than I anticipated and puts out quite a bit of light I installed it at the bottom of my stairs in the basement.. install was pretty easy and straightforward the only downfall was the five little screws that hold the diffuser to the light fixture but other than that it’s a great light

Very nice light

This light looks very elegant, and will go with almost any decor. It was really easy to install and provides lots of light. It's diffused so it does not blind you when you look at it.

Works well for our laundry room
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The light we got is in a beautiful chrome rim. I was worried about the size being to big as off the light fixture it reminded me of a submarine window. I ordered this for our laundry room to replace the lighting and it is a smaller room for the size. However, after putting it on it still fit well and did not overpower the scene in the room. It actually looked very elegant and beautiful. A second light will be order as well. It enlivened the rooms dead personality. I really enjoyed the look and smiled when I saw it. My husband said that the fixture does has a lot of wiring and not a lot of space to store the wires. His main complaint was trying to shove the wiring into the access hole without them getting caught. It did take a little longer then expected to install because of the wiring. Once that was done the lighting looked great. He likes the look as well in a modern but classy style.

Great light

Nice elegant light that looks great in my kitchen. Takes 2 regular sized lightbulbs. I have smart bulbs in mine. The covering comes off easily for changing lightbulbs. Lighting is great.

My new light

It goves off all the right light in there. Its not to hard to install, but if you have never installed something like this its better to leave it to a professional.

Beautiful drum-shaped light!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kichler ceiling light looks very beautiful! My children call it our "drum light" because it resembles a likeness to a drum! It gives off plenty of light through the "frosted" panes and it was very easy to install. My husband had it installed within minutes. I love our light!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fixture was absolutely beautiful. After receipt, I inspected them and put them up over the weekend . The item is well made and is what we expected it to look like and we are pleased with it. The installation is easy enough to assemble overall, and a good look.. It diffuses the light evenly. Elevates and pulls together the room. Modern, but approachable. Diffuses light very well. Highly recommend Kichler Lighting brand. I was not disappointed at all! It arrived in great shape, was actually bigger than I thought and went it quickly with no issues. I cut the power VIA the breaker and uninstalled the original fixture. Hung this new one from the ceiling fixture receptacle using some twine to suspend it at the appropriate height and went to work. White to white, black to black and the green (blue in my case ) wire was grounded to the green grounding screw in the fixture receptacle. The plates for the fixture all lined up as they were supposed to. All the hardware and wiring components were correct and true. Can't ask for much more! Package arrived quickly and securely packed. I did it by myself, it took less than 30 mins. Now my dinning room is brighter ...

Super-sized hall light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kichler Serca 3-Light 18" Black Incandescent Flush Mount Ceiling Light looks like a modern replacement for the old gaudy gold and glass ceiling lights from the 90's (and older). Unfortunately, it is way bigger than I expected and is too large to fit in the area I planned to replace an ancient ceiling light. The location was going to be at the top of the stairs, but it just will not work there due to its sheer size. Aesthetically, it would look like a giant tractor beam shining down on those using the stairs. I would recommend using lower wattage lights inside (since there are three) to keep the light from being too intense. It would also get in the way for taller people since we have a low ceiling hallway. I wish we had a better location to use it, but the layout of the house lighting doesn't offer another central location that would work. I'd love to see this in a smaller size, as it would be easier to install. Inside the light, you need to have three medium base E26 bulbs (up to 60W), which are not included. The light size is pretty massive: 18" deep and 5.75" tall. All and all, this is a very sleek and modern light that would do well to brighten up a large room.

Very stylish light! Install was more challenging
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked out this light for my son's bedroom to upgrade to a more modern look, and also that his sibling's bedroom fan has the same shape/coloring. I am very pleased with how the light looks in his room! It clearly has a high quality construction like all Kichler products, and I appreciated that I could use my own light bulbs to choose how bright it would be. There are some exposed rivets/screws to add a slightly industrial look, but it is sleek at the same time. The diffuser on the bottom helps to create a smooth light (I used a flash in one photo to show the placement of the three bulbs in the light).
However - I had to remove one star as the instructions were confusing and installation was not very smooth on this light. As a DIY'er the installation was frustrating. My spouse had a hard time getting the bracket to attach correctly to our light box, and the instructions were confusing pertaining to how much exposed screw should be left. With patience and trying on repeat, we got it to go up and are very happy with the light.
Hire an electrician to avoid a headache - or be prepared for a longer than usual install time - and you'll be so pleased! Despite this, another new awesome light in our house!
