Beautiful Light for my Bathroom!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hatteras Bay 4 Light Halogen fixture is a new asset to my master bathroom vanity area. I'm so happy with the modern and sophisticated look. The 4 bulbs are very bright and attractive. The rail lights gives it a vintage look and the halogen output is perfect for lighting. It is 11.25'' height and 5'5'' in width. Perfect length over the bathroom sink and for it to really stand out as a nice accent. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the look as well as the easy installation. I'll surely be purchasing more Kichler Lighting products for the rest of my home.

Beautiful fixture with amazing lighting power!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love the Kichler Hatteras Bay 4 Light Fixed Rail in Olde Bronze. I got two of them to totally illuminate my kitchen. I can see everything which makes work so much easier. As I live in Arizona I have sunshades to tamp down the bright almost constant hot bright sun. Before I got these my work area was not evenly lit. These amazing lights allow me to cast light to every inch of my kitchen while looking rich, expensive and rustic to match my cabin styled home. I just love them and have gotten many comments in the past couple of days since they were installed! As noted, I received one light in exchange for my honest review, I purchased a second one to complete my kitchen as I love this light so much!

First buying a larger item by mail. It took several weeks before getting. I gather not an in stock item. Frastrating but never found what I wanted from a store. It is the size was wanting. I'm pleased with what I purchased.

Another amazing product from Kichler!!!

The Hatteras Bay 4 Light Halogen Fixed Rail Light Olde Bronze® is no exception. It is just gorgeous! The light that it puts out is impressive as well. I also love how well packaged it was, I never have to worry about an item from Kichler arriving damaged, sturdy box, thick molded foam and strong tape assure that the item will arrive undamaged.

Beautiful modern industrial style
We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel & were searching for a light fixture to go over a small kitchen island. The fixture had to meet 3 criteria: it had to be the right size, the right color & the right style. When we found this fixture, it checked all of the boxes for us. We have 8’ ceilings so the lights hang at the perfect level over the island. Our electrician friend installed it for us so I can’t comment about ease of installation but it was no problem for him. The bronze color matches the decor that we use in our home & we’ve gotten a lot of compliments. The modern industrial look of the fixture also blends in with what we are using in our new kitchen. Now that I’ve found this fixture, we will certainly be on the lookout for more Kichler lighting products for the other rooms that we intend to remodel.

Perfect style

Awesome Lights

Doesn't take the regular bulbs takes a special kind. Other than that I'm very pleased with the quality of the fixture.

Can it be mounted on a sloped vaulted ceiling?
I’m sure, ours is on a flat surface but what I like about it is, it’s screws tight for put the different angles to highlight if you want.

I have this exact fixture above a kitchen island. Main complaint is how HOT the halogen lights are! Why can't I find an LED replacement for 5.5" GU10???

Must I use a Halogen bulb in this light fixture? Can I use an LED or other type bulb?
LED bulbs with this base, and in this size, do not appear to be available. I've been searching online and in lighting stores for months.

What do I need to change in the lamp to use an LED bulb?
Good luck with that! I have been searching for an LED bulb with the same base for months. I found one chinese company but they will only sell by the case. Since I need only 4 bulbs this seems inpractica and expensive. Plus LED are supposed to last 10 yrs or more, so no point ordering to save for the future. My solution so far is to simply not use the fixture during the six months of high heat here in central Tx. Bummer.

What is total drop measurement from ceiling to bottom of light fixture? Is it 11.25" or 18.75"? Confusing with the two measurements listed.
Sorry I answered earlier today and oopsed again. From the sealing to the bottom of the light is 11" and it give great bright light. What I like the best is the ability to direct the lights to different areas in my kitchen. With a dimmer I can have BRIGHT light when needed and soft light when your not in the kitchen but need a little evening light. Hope this helps.
