It was easy to install yourself if you have basic electrical experience. Just attach like wores to like wires and ground. It looks very nice hanging. We have it in a long hallway to accent a.painting at the end. I recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AlexB from Modern and elegant design; easy to install [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this wall sconce to replace another internal fixture. Therefore, it was simply a matter of undoing a couple screws and a couple of wire nuts, and a half hour later I was enjoying my new Kichler wall sconce. The instructions couldn’t be more simple, and really aren’t even necessary even if you’ve never replaced an electrical fixture before. It probably would have taken me closer to 15 minutes if I didn’t have a minor issue getting the fixture mounted on the wall plate. Essentially, if the wall plate is too flush to the wall, the screws of the fixture will not catch the lip of the wall plate. I remedied this by using a couple of spacers (not included) to bring the wall plate further away from the wall so the screws from the fixture could catch. It was a minor hiccup, but it did not affect the functioning or elegant look. I am also very pleased with the light distribution coming from the fixture. Even though it has direct up and down lighting, the light rays reflect around well to provide lighting to the front of the fixture as well.
