Attractive and functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I visited the home stores and found no ceiling fans to my liking. We needed to replace old, dated ones in a home we bought. When I went online and found these, they seemed to fill the bill. We had our electrician install one each of these in the family room and master bedroom. They go with any decor, give an 'updated' look and work beautifully. Very happy with them.

awesome sleek fan, quiet, slighty modern
This is my second MinkaAire fan and I love it. I did not put it up myself but my contractor/handyman didnt seem to have any issues with installation. The only issue I had was the remote programming, which requires other fans of the same brand in the house be disconnected from power. Since there were two fans on this one circuit that required we get a little creative, but it all worked out in the end.

So far, so good!
We purchased 2 of these fans in white for the great room in a beach house. We received one white and one wood grain. I was able to process the exchange pretty easily and had the correct one within a week.
They were installed a couple of weeks ago and so far everything is working as expected. They look great and hope that they continue to perform for years to come.

Beautiful fan
I bought this fan for a bedroom and it looks great, works smoothly and quietly and the price fit my current budget. The reverse switch is on the fan housing but I wish it had a switch on the remote. I know Minka's fans that are priced above this one have that feature. Luckily the fan is easily reachable with a small step ladder. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful, but not bright
Absolutely beautiful fan! My clients love the look! BUT - it is not bright. It is not bright enough to adequately light a smaller bedroom at night. It's only 1244 lumens, less than 2 60W lights bulbs with 800 lumens each. You will need can lights or lamps to make the room bright enough. Disappointed in quality of light for a mid-priced fan.

LED light unit is limited to one color 3000K
Nice design, fit our idea of sleek fan, but the small integrated LED light is too "yellow" when compared with rest of our great room. Tried to order different light unit, but none offered. But, ordered a second light unit to see if we can tear it apart and put in a new light engine from China with 5000K color.

I find MinkaAire is always an excellent product-in fact that is what I have all over my house. This particular product was a little less expensive-which is what I wanted for a spare room no in much use. Very good product-- not as sleek as some of my more expensive Minkaaire fan/lights but a good product.

Modern sleek design.
I love the look of this ceiling fan as it's sleek and unobtrusive. The only downside was that to reverse the direction one must change the switch on the body of the fan which means we'll need a very tall ladder. Other than that, the fan is great; it's very quiet and the remote is easy to use.

Love it
Love the fan and the light. Remote is nice. The LED light eventually burns out and it cannot be replaced. Can’t find it anywhere on the internet. Like the fan and light so much, bought a replacement one just for the light. A total waste, but it’s just perfect so gotta do what you gotta do.

We bought three of these fans and installed them all. Overall, they are pretty and serve the purpose. The remote controls look and feel much cheaper than the fans, and are a little difficult to use. We had someone install them, but the installer reported that it was easy to do.

GREAT DYNO!
Easily installed and looks great. A good surprise was the remote control being able to not only turn the fan and light on and off, but it also can control the brightness of the light. I am a contractor and I got this light/fan for my personal office and love it!

Very smart looking. We had it professional installed because we had to have electricity run to the ceiling. One could easily install it themselves.
Came with remote which is one of the reasons we purchased this fan.

Great fan but. . .
Great looking fan, just keep in mind if you order more than one you need to change the remote channel, something not easily done. I also had an issue with the fan cutting on/off and changing speeds randomly. I ended up returning for another.

Beautiful and functional
The fan is sleek and stylish but also functional. Quiet - which was very important for a bedroom fan. Would've given 5 stars, but the install was a little tricky (and we were very glad that we had an electrician do the job).

Tested fan before installation and it ran, but would not run when installed. Only a hum so something happened during test. A new part was sent from company but still did not run after part was installed. Returned fan
