Beware
I purchased 2 of these fans. They are a perfect for certain applications as they are small, have 4 speeds and a nice LED light. If have a 3 wire fan set up from switch to fan it's perfect. If you have 2 wires from switch to fan I would advise against going this fan. You can't control the fan and light separately. Normally you would install a wireless remote control but there is none on the market that are compatible with this product. MinkaAire's own remotes don't even work with this fan. And the product description does not warn the consumer of this situation. Make sure you have 3 wires from switch to fan or can add one easily.

Needed additional electrical
This was a very nice fan, the bronze color was excellent and it looked and felt sturdy. The only reason for this rating is that we had to return it because it only has the wall control which would have required adding another live wire to the electrical box. Without the additional wire, we could not control the light and fan separately since there are no pull chains on the the unit itself. Also, the ceiling fan is a bit on the heavy side for being so small. We were able to install it and the blades, even though short, worked great. The light even at its lowest setting was still very bright and this was in a 13 x 10 room.

Perfect Pair
Bought a pair of these as part of a complete kitchen remodel in 2014 (8 years ago). They run constantly from March through October, and on other kitchen-heavy days like Christmas and Thanksgiving. Absolutely silent. Smooth as glass. All white, so they need routine cleaning. My wife made fun at first, saying it looked like a twin rotor helicopter crashed into the house, but she loves them now. Perfect for stirring the air in a long, narrow kitchen. I cannot say enough good about how these look and how they perform.

Small but mighty!
This is a fabulous fan for small spaces. I do recommend a licensed electrician to install due to the light and speed control installation. Looks great and doesn't overpower the room. This fan replaced one that had long blades and Victorian glass globes in a 10 x 10 room! This fan is powerful and quiet. Cooled the room in just a few minutes, and this room is on the sunny side of the house. Recommend this style for modern, contemporary, bauhaus style homes. Very happy with this purchase. Oh, and only weighs 12 lbs.

I’ve been looking all over
When we moved into our house on the beach 3 years ago these fans were in 2 rooms the kitchen and a spare bedroom (my sons) I didn’t think they would be good and I was soo wrong these little guys are so powerful it’s hot in Florida and I hate my ceiling fan in our master and I was going to switch out the kitchen fan to mine because this fan is so powerful I’m so happy I found it now I can new ones to install in all rooms

I LOVE this fan. It's in my open floor plan kitchen. I needed a light over my sink and all the pendant lights and track lighting I looked at just weren't right. When I came across this flush mount ceiling fan I knew it was perfect. Plus, I had two bigger ones ins called in my last home and loved them, as well. It's small and compact but the light is big and the air flow is amazing. Highly recommend.

Great air flow
This is a terrific little fan -- really moves the air in a small room. HOWEVER BE WARNED that if you have an older house you'll need an electrician to add an additional wire for the fan or light fixture. Also, there is an electronic hum that might not bother some people but I find annoying (I'll get used to it).

Convenient switch
Although the switch is a little hard to install, it is very convenient to have all the features on the switch, so you don’t have to have chains hanging down. Installed it in our summer trailer, so didn’t get to use it, as it wasn’t received until after we were done using the trailer for the summer.
