The only downside to the fans is the remote controls which interfere with each other. We work around it but that's the reason the fans earn four stars instead of five.

I wish the electric remote control option was standard, and not another purchase. Instead I mounted the battery remote holder included to the wall and it is fine

Also ordered the wall mount remote which works perfectly. Completely silent. Bright enough for medium sized bedroom. Beautiful nickel finish.

With only 7 1/2 foot ceilings, a "Ceiling Hugger" was absolutely necessary, and this MInka fills that requirement.

The fan makes little noise and overall is just the look we're going for! Will probably buy another one for another room.

These fans are quiet, move air and are easy to install. We have the light on them as well which provides a perfect amount of ambient light.
