If i had known that the finish wasn't rated for outdoors, i would have never purchased these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful fan. We had trouble with this fan since the initial installation. It does not provide much air flow. It stopped working after 1 1/2 years requiring a new interior motor. I called Minka and the tech said that some fans stop working just like a car engine.
