Minka ceiling fan
One of your salespeople, with excellent intentions, warned me this fan might not move enough air. The electrician we hired to install it said he had one just like it and
He loves it. The warning was well-meant but the fan is great and we love the way it looks. It is well-balanced and dead quiet.

Fan Humming
I had a Minka fan before and it was very quite. Installed this one in my bedroom and the humming was so bad I had to turn it off. I will be returning even though I paid for an electrician to install and now uninstall. Disappointed although love the look.

Looks great, just as we had hoped, and works well. Pretty quiet, but not whisper quiet. Simple remote control works well, but it would be nicer if fan direction could be reversed with the remote control rather than with a switch on the fan housing.

The wave fan
The fan is very nicely designed and is visually impressive with a modern look.,however it sometimes seems to have a mind of its own. The speed will sometimes fluctuate un commanded waking me up at night. It also makes a clicking noise intermittently.

Bought this fan for a bedroom reno project, hoping for a cool, industrial look. Opening the box brought a big disappointment. For the cost, you should not be getting cheap, plastic blades, which is what this fan comes with. Sending it back.

Love this fan…an out of the box approach and a necessary addition to allow ideal air flow in a room with a cathedral ceiling. Very aesthetically pleasing - does not add touch design or distraction to the room…fabulous price. We love it.

It has been up for 2 weeks now and it works great, moves a lot of air and is totally quiet and of course, it looks terrific.........I was skeptical at first with the "plastic" looking blades but once it was up I am quiet pleased

Absolutely stunning!
This fan in stunning - we got the Distressed Koa finish. It is whisper quiet, the remote is easy to use, and it cools quickly and efficiently. We put it up a month ago and I still look at it and smile. So glad we got it!

I have two white "Light Wave" fans. Great fans. Only problem is I cannot find the reverse switch? Is it UNDER the coupling, or where? Can you post a picture of the location of the switch?

An architect's review
As an architect, I think this is an excellent fan for its price. I hope they can be used with smartthings to blow air as the furnace turn on in the future - then that'd be perfect!

Fan has a hum and surface is really shiny.
The fan is pretty, though shinier than I thought the surface would be. We have the white.
Also- you can hear the motor. I would have happily paid more for something quiet.

Not easily reversible
Nice design. Works well and is quiet
I do wish it could be reversed with the remote. Instead I must haul in a 12’ step ladder to reach the switch on the motor of the fan.

An Elegant and Excellent Fan
This is a significantly higher quality fan than one finds in the local big box stores. The motor housing is totally enclosed and the fan blades are sculptured giving the unit a very elegant look; while at the same time, blending in rather glaringly standing out like visible motor units do. The fan moves a lot of air, is rock steady, and is totally silent on the low speed setting. The product comes with an easy to use remote control.
There are two cautions. Securing the fan blades to the unit require patience as they are part of the motor enclosure. One should only loosely attach all three blades and carefully center them before tightening or the unit might have the potential to wobble.
The unit can only be reversed by the switch on the top of the motor unit: A non-starter for anyone who is uncomfortable on a ladder. An interesting part of the elegant design of this product is that a tapered sleeve slides down over the switch so that the switch is not visible during operation.
We installed this product in our new constructed sunroom and friends comment on the unique design of the fan and never fail to ask who made the fan and where we bought it.
