Looks Great!
I love that this light is nice and bright. We only have the chandelier in the dining room and the previous light was too dim. This one uses 5 100-watt bulbs and fully illuminates the room. Now we can see what we're eating. The light is economical, and *way* better looking than Big Box Store lighting. Goes great with our transitional decor.
The only con was that the electrical cord got all twisted up when we installed it--you have to shove the cord through a tiny hole and pull and cajole it. It's still twisted more than it should be, but we got it working and it's great. Also, if you plan to use it with a dimmer, make sure your dimmer can handle this light's voltage.

Bright Light and Great Design
I needed a new "up-light" for the hall-like dining room in my 1938 Cape Cod. With the recently remodeled kitchen just through the doorway, the new fixture would like-wise have to pay homage to the house. On a dimmer the 5 100 watt bright lights can focus on the ceiling's detailed plaster work or bring a warm intimacy to the new dining table. With clear directions to assemble and install the fixture, my daughter had it completed in less than an hour. Now I'm considering the purchase of a matching smaller fixture as a replacement in the bathroom. Great service, great price!

Great, contemporary fixture!
I was looking for a clean, contemporary chandelier for my dining room that would fill, but not overwhelm the space and this has been an excellent choice! The chandelier does not hang as low as some, making it a good choice for rooms that do not have very high ceilings. The soft lighting is pretty and the brushed nickel looks great. The only surprise is that the glass has a shine to it (I thought it would be frosted, matte), but I still think it looks elegant and contemporary.

great chandelier for the dining room
I bought this chandelier for our dining room to replace an old, big, vintage, 6 light crystal chandelier that wasn't bright and wasn't our style. This light made quite a difference in brightness and the look is very clean line and contemporary/transitional which what our dining room is. Max wattage is 100 watts per light, but we used 75 watts for each one and lights up the room very well and I have a dimmer so that I can dim it also.

Love the fixture
Takes 100 watt bulbs and I have a dimmer, so it is great to have lots of light when needed and turn lower for dining.
This chandelier has a contemporary feeling. It is listed as "Asian theme" which would work well too, but I would call it Transitional/Contemporary, My home is a ranch with transitional furnishing.I also liked the black finish for that transitional feel.
My actual dining area is small (10x11) but open to larger area, I chose this full size (25") chandelier, but also chose because lights are near the bottom of fixture so it could be hung quite high. It would have overwhelmed this small area if hung close to eye level. It makes the small area look larger. When I bought the house it had a small. three light chandelier which emphasized the small size of the dining area. Now it does not because larger chandelier incorporates surrounding area and illuminates larger ceiling area.

ML 1815 chandelier
It looks better than a catalogue photo. Needs two to install. Glass shades are nice and diffuse light softer with warm LED bulbs. Didn’t like cheap builder looking chain. Bought a contemporary sleek cable instead. Over all it’s easy to install and works well with a dimmer switch, too.

Seems nice but don't know yet
We received the light about a month ago. We cannot hang it because it is for a vaulted ceiling and the chain isn't long enough. Ordered more chain but cannot seem to get it. Also one of the five globes is very warped. We very well may love it if we can ever hang it.

Very nice
I really like this and it matches my pendant lights over the island. The only thing I may have done is ordered the other one is the series but it has more lights and another row of shades (more elaborate). But, I really do like this one!

Looking to replace my kitchen light with #173734. I do not see in the description how long the wire or black chain is and does it have a ceiling plate included. Mine will be hanging from a vaulted ceiling requiring six foot of both . Thank you
This Chandelier comes with 120" long wire and 72" length of chain. This fixture includes a ceiling plate/Canopy which measures 1.25'' H x 4.75'' W.
