I love this fixture, HOWEVER, I bought 2 to go up the staircase and you can see the socket from below. It looks awful so I had to replace them.

Great sconce lights!
These lights arrived quickly after ordering online. They installed easily and really make the room look great! I searched at the local hardware and lighting stores but couldn't find anything that would compliment our decor. These lights have already received multiple compliments from visitors. Now we can truly enjoy the lighting ambiance these lights provide in our theater room!

Beautiful sconce!
This is a very handsome sconce. It is very solid and the color is attractive. Make note (I didn't)....it is open on the bottom and mine is placed at the top of stairs so you can see inside as you climb the stairs. It's not horrible, but I probably should have chosen something that is closed at the bottom. Still a very nice light.

I absolutely love these sconces. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The shipping costs were pretty high because I had them expedited, but it was well worth it. I would definitely recommend these sconces!! I plan on purchasing more very soon.

Contemporary yet rustic
I installed two of these in the hallway of my home. They look very good and cast a nice light both up and down the wall, as well as give off a nice glow through the glass. I installed a 25watt equivalent LED bulb in each lamp.

Perfect finish and look. high quality piece. glass component is more "off white" than originally wanted, but ended up creating a very pleasing glow .... better than having a pure white globe. highly recommend.

replacement wall sconces
We bought these wall sconces as a replacement during a renovation. I installed them with a dimmer switch and achieved the subdued effect we wanted.

if I place this sconce on a wall of a staircase going downwards will I see the light bulb without looking directly over the sconce? How far down the shade is the bulb positioned? Is the top of the shade partially covered?
