Striking Design, Scale, & Quality
I had ordered and returned two (2) previous sconces that were too small, poorly designed, or both. Then I found this sconce on Bellacore. Not only is it the right scale for my room, it is a designers dream. I wanted a sconce that would handle an LED A21 100W daylight bulb and this filled the bill. The other two sconces were too small in diameter. I installed a dimmer on one and use it as a TV watching light. This sconce is first class, well made, and looks sharp in my room. Also easy to install and the glass shade is beautiful.

The wall lamp has a great design.
I installed the first lamp with no problem. Not as strong metal as I thought I would get for the price. However was able to install and adjust. Installed the second lamp and turned on. It blew destroyed the Dimmer Switch. Since I waited for almost 6 weeks for the lamp I decided to see if I could fix it my self. I found that as the wires went thru the hole to the lamp that both wires were "sliced" at the same point causing a direct short. I fixed the wiring and learned how to replace the dimmer switch.. This is a quality control problem. However I love the lamps.

Great Sconce!
I absolutely love these sconces on either side of my fireplace. They were a little bigger than I expected, but they look awesome on the wall. One of them came with an imperfection on the glass shade, so I called Lighting Direct and explained the problem, and after being on the phone for less than 3 minutes, they had offered to send a whole new sconce, free of charge, and I didn't even have to return the old one! Lighting Direct is great to work with and I absolutely love this product.

Very nice
The light arrived quickly and was just what I expected. It was easy to install, and looks wonderful in my stairwell.
I have a comact flourescent bulb in the fixture and it supplies a nice warm glow
The only reason that I did not give it all 5 stars is that the glass cover doesn't sit in the holder perfectly - it is not noticeable now that it has been in place for a few weeks, but I did notice it at first.
I would by any of the lights from this collection.

beautiful - light wall sconce from the Totino coll
I absolutely love the look of this light fixture. After viewing hundreds of wall light fixtures I found this one. It is well made and easy to install. Changing the light bulb is a snap.
I placed it washing upward (option to install downward) and it truly lights up the entire wall with soft lighting.
So far, absolutely no regrets, only compliments.

Classy!
This is a very classy and unique lighting fixture. We have it in between two 8 ft. sliding glass doors in our great room. It fit perfectly in the small wall area. I prefer ambient lighting so I use the lowest bulb watt I can get. It's still a bit too bright with a 40W bulb, but it's so unique and made so well, I don't care. Very worth the money!

We ordered these for our powder bath remodel. They are priced very well and are well constructed. Very simple to install if the wiring is existing. Be careful of your measurements, these sconces are bigger than you might think. We initially thought they were too big for our bathroom when they arrived, but after installation they look fine.

Nice Touch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed these in a hallway in our basement and family room for movie watching. They put out good lighting where we needed it in the hallway and allow us to dim them in the family room. We have gotten many compliments on the fixtures.

is there a back plate? what size is it? if no backplate - how does it mount to the wall?
Yes, there is a backplate. It is attached to the scroll that surrounds the glass. I'm not sure of the size but it is not visible.
