Modern and sleek

Can this be mounted on a angled ceiling?
This Mini Pendant is not recommended for sloped the ceiling.

We have a vaulted ceiling in our kitchen. Having trouble finding pendants that have enough length/drop. Can you order additional rods for this? My electrician could extend the cord/wiring.
