Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy, well made light but surprised of design I purchased 3 mini pendants for kitchen island. The lights were received quickly and well packaged. I was a bit surprised of the designed above the globe and of the ceiling canopy base. The deign is actually a swirl around an interior pipe that I was not aware of it being like that because I thought the design was different (make sure you zoom in on design to understand what it actually looks like). Also the ceiling base is heavy and very elaborate (fancier than I had expected). I do like how you can use different pipe lengths to hang and the whole light globe base is not very long! Overall, this is a heavy, well made light and possibly could be more elegant than I wanted for my newly remodeled kitchen. Really it's not a bad thing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning!!!! Absolutely perfect and very expensive looking. The shell shades provide an un-common and very rich look. The pendants are "very well" made and the metal is heavy,ornate and high quality. Now...I want to get a chandelier to match :)

Can these lights be dimmed and are they brown? The description is dark granite which sounds grey or black, they look brown in the photo.

How are pendants with stems altered to accommodate varying ceiling heights?  I need pendants that hang 45-46 inches from my ceiling.   Will selected pendants work for me?

You have to have your husband do the math like mine! There are: one 6-Inch, two 12-Inch, and one 18-Inch stem sections per lamp.  We bought four for the stairwell and we have left over stems...  Will post picture later with review.

What is the length of just the glass shade?

It's adjustable. It comes with bars that make it very long or use one bar like I did over my kitchen sink which is about 1 1/2 feet
