I also had the same problem with the vertical mount provided. It's not the same depth as the horizontal hardware and impossible to mount. There's no space for it to mount to the screw provided. Any updated hardware design by manufacturer?

Could this mirror be used as a tray on an ottoman? Is it possible to remove the mounting hardware from the back?
This Mirror is not recommended to be used as a tray on Ottoman.

How do you hang this mirror vertically? Mine only has a saw tooth hook at the top but there is a metal bar welded so close under the hook that a nail will not fit. This is the only option I have to hang vertically, there are no other D rings or hangers.
We had the exact same problem! We had Bellacor contact the manufacturer and were told it was just a defect. We therefore went ahead and ordered a new Crofton mirror, but that one has the same problem. I am surprised that no one has raised this issue before and wonder if it is a recent issue.

Is the finish a bright gold or a deeper matte gold?
It's bright. But beware they are far mirrors, they will distort your body and face! I returned mine
