would this go in a bathroom with chrome hardware?
This Interior dry rated Mirror can be used in dry Locations. A dry location is an indoor area that is not normally subject to dampness which includes kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, foyers, hallways and most areas in bathrooms.

Can it be hung so it is 41" in the horizontal direction?
I don't see why not. We hung our vertically in our powder room. I don't recall if the hardware was so that it could be hung horizontally, but hanging hardware could certainly be added. It's a beautiful mirror.

What is the frame made of? Does it come with hangers
This mirror does not include hangers. The frame is made of Pinewood. It has a textured profile finished in a lightly antiqued silver.
