Beautiful with instruction/assembly issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If it weren't for the instructions having issues and assembly troubles due to improper design, I would rate this 5 stars. Looks great, love the easy rolling door. Assembly was not bad from a time or difficulty perspective. But I wish there would have been more review of the instructions before customers purchased. Page 5 shows putting the screws in holes that clearly do not accept the screws (screw G). It shows the middle screw hole which has a metal piece embedded into the product already that is designed for a smaller screw (F) when the bottom is put on. Step 12 is also strange as it makes it look like the wedges are just randomly installed on the back. No screw holes, hard to figure that step out. Last trouble is step 14. The page shows shelf support pins across from each other in the middle of the series of holes. However that's not possible because the center board doesn't allow for a pin coming through the middle board at the same location on each side. Not a thick enough board so one pin pushes the other out. Either a wider board or very slight stagger, say 3/8 inch, of the holes would have been smart. Now the shelves need to be at very different heights due to a design flaw.
Overall it is a beautiful product and I have received compliments on it. So happy to have it in my house just hope future iterations take these flaws and adjust. Sturdy product that is not a 'throw away' and will last. I'd still recommend just hope these challenges get addressed.
