[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Walker Edison 68” solid wood grooved hall tree about a month ago and put it to use. The assembly was straight forward but did take a little longer than some other, similar made items. To explain the pieces both glued with wooden dowels and screwed together. This took a little more time but made for a solid design. Once assembled there was no wobble to the hall tree and even in moving with the assistance of my wife the pieces did not seem to move. I personally think this is better and like the design. As for the looks of the completed piece, it’s really nice. I could not find any areas where the wood was discolored or damaged. All pieces were there and it really looks great. The instructions provide a weight limit for each piece and I’ll be sure to follow them however it just feels like it can handle more if you (like everyone else) put a little extra on it. As you can see, I’ve already put my sons shoes and jackets in it making it easy to go out the door. If you’re in the market for one this is for you. The shelves really make the extra storage area great.
