Can this be installed without the legs and backsplash?

The Vanity can be installed without the backsplash but the legs are recommended to be installed with the Vanity.

The specs for this vanity say that this 36 inch vanity is 22 inches in width.....is that a misprint? I need a vanity that is 36 inches wide across the front. I won't order until I hear from you. Thanks!

This Vanity measures 35" inch in Height x 37" in Width x 22" in Depth.
