I am planning to order this wallpaper; however, I am wondering how much waste there will be since I am only doing the upper half of a wall (approx. 5 feet). My wall is divided by chair rail and the bottom portion will be painted. Thank you.
The package gave me exactly enough to do the back wall of 2 water closets. Walls are maybe 3 x 8’.

When it says packaged in double rolls but priced as single rolls and I use the "how many rolls do i need calculator" and it tells me I need 4 rolls how many do I put in my cart? 4 packages would give me 8 rolls & i only need 4 so should I get 2 packages?
Yes, two packages should do it. If you are unsure, the product description should include square footage per roll.

can i just paste the wall instead of using the prepasted adhesive.
You could, but it's not necessary. Mine's been installed for 8 months with zero issues using the prepasted adhesive.

Is this textured paper?
It has a slight wood like feel to it. Very realistic. Most people that come into my home think it's real shiplap.

Is it hard to install ?
We didn’t think so. You still need to follow basic wallpapering steps—-measure & cut, roll up “inside-out” to immerse in water bath, then align on your wall & smooth out. If you have wallpapered before, this is the same. Good luck.

Are you able to apply this over old wallpaper?
Unsure; it may depend on the condition of the wallpaper underneath. I can tell you, because of the textured appearance, it would cover well. Hope this helps.

Does this get installed left to right? Not like standard wallpaper. Wall is 9 ft x 9 ft.
I installed it right to left but believe I should have done it the opposite way because I had to cut a smaller piece to finish it & that piece is the outside of the wall. Still love the finished look! I get oohs & ahhs whenever I show it!!

Is the wallpaper textured to simulate real shiplap?
It is not rough like wood, however there is a linear type of texture that you can feel. I had a friend who thought it was real shiplap wood that we put up, not wallpaper. I am very pleased!

So to remove the paper, do you re-wet it? I have panel board now, with squares, so the panel has dimension. Does the wall paper have some heft to it or is it micro thin, like most wall papers?
I'm putting mine up this weekend, BUT from what I've felt it has the thickness of a vinyl wallpaper. You also wet it (I'm using a spray bottle) before you put it up, no extra glue needed. Hope that helps!

Will this cover up red walls or should I prime first?
This is wallpaper, and even though white, I would think it would cover red paint. But since I’m just guessing, I would call a paint/wallpaper store and ask them. Good luck!

I am looking to replace paneling in my family room. Is it best to remove the paneling and replace with wooden shiplap? is it possible to get a sample? i and looking to go while and fresh
I would definitely either remove the paneling first or use the special lining that goes behind wallpaper to smooth out the ridges. I put the shiplap wallpaper in my bedroom on one wall and my family and friends have fallen in love. My son was absolutely dumbfounded at how natural and attractive it is. If you are looking to go white you may be surprised. The white is light and soft and full of character, but it is not a stark white. I personally love it and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. If in doubt just send for a sample, but I think you will not be disappointed by going with this. I tip my hat to Joanna Gaines and her decorative inspiration and the helpful staff at Bellacore.

I want to cover 1970's paneling. Would this product be a good one to use?
Hi! I'm not a wallpaper expert, but if you're going to put it over paneling I would first paint your paneling with a matte primer. It will help give your wall paper a little extra something to adhere to.

HI: Interested in the Magnolia shiplap wallpaper you have. Is it a true WHITE or and OFF WHITE in color?
I'm no color expert, but, in my opinion, it is true white, with pale grey "distressed streaking" and the filler or "grout" between each plank is the same pale grey (I guess so it looks like cement). We paired this with white painted cabinets and accent painted walls in deep blue, almost navy. I hope this is helpful to you!!

I placed mine in my laundry room, where it also get warm and I have not had any issues. I would just ensure everything is completely smoothed down during application so no moisture is able to get behind the wallpaper.

A monitor's brightness setting can affect how the product looks. This Wallpaper features White/Gray finish. The dominant color is white and the gray color is so mild which gives the Wallpaper a off white look.

I bought 2 double rolls believing the design match to be straight but the specs on the rolls I received indicate a drop match. This means there is lots of waste so I need another double roll. i need run 23--is this possible?

It comes on a roll, just like normal wallpaper. The measurements given are to represent the width of the boards. It does look nice once it’s installed, I’m sure it would like nice when your finished.

How easy is this material to work with? I love the idea of wallpaper but really want the true effects of wood.
I did not hang the paper...I had it hung professionally. They did use wallpaper paste in addition to the pre-pasted just for good measure. It did not appear to be difficult to work with. Everyone who walks into my bathroom feels the wallpaper because they cannot believe it's not real wood. I love it!

Hi would this paper be good in a dorm room and remove without damaging the wall?
I feel the student is fond of ship lap they'll live the paper! It's stunning and everyone touches it thinking it's real wood. As far as removing it, I can't answer. I just hung mine a month ago.
