First, I wanted a black frame and a frosted white shade. Second, I wanted a contemporary yet simple fixture. Third, I did not want a cord. Fourth, I did not want to spend a fortune. Bingo. I hit the jackpot with this pendant light. It looks terrific in my black and white kitchen. It is very sturdy and the provides a lot of light.
