Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice fan but hangs lower than specs state. Love the fan in silver, looks great in my contemporary bedroom. Only complaint is the spec sheets are incorrect. The fan from ceiling to bottom of motor, without a light, is a little more than 12 1/2", not the 10 inches stated on the Minka Aire spec sheets. With an 8 foot ceiling this fan is a bit lower than I wanted.

Do you know build just sells the product and once you install it, all issues are with manufacturer Which means they have to “troubleshoot” a fan that quits working after a few days. At that point, manufactured will send parts deemed defective by their tech group Very annoying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Installed three and could not be happier I have two bronze fans in the bedrooms that are occupied as well as a silver in the living room. All have the optional LED light. The blades are plastic. Thick, well made plastic. I don’t have an issue due to quality of materials used. I did have an issue getting the receiver in because I didn’t see in the instructions how things were to go together. After me making a call and help from Minka Aire, I was back at it and they all went up pretty quickly. How to place the receiver was in their directions, I just missed it. I had gotten another popular brand fan for the dining room. The wiring was a nightmare. The Simple makes it very easy as all you have to do is plug the appropriate connectors together. These fans move a LOT of air. The DC motors are very efficient and if you’re looking for a visually low-impact, clean appearing fan that moves air, for the price (compared to other dc driven fans) along with the quality of the product, you’d be hard pressed to do better than this fan.
